When you arrive and receive a pass to audition, you will be directed to wait in a hold space and then the hallway outside of the audition space. Once brought into the room, artists will draw a quick still life in pencil, while the audition panel of no less than two (one visual arts director and one academic teacher) view your portfolio. Once complete, the audition team may ask questions about their portfolio, sketchbooks and/or still life drawing as well as their knowledge of art terminology. Auditions take less than 10 minutes and the same procedures are consistent for all art candidates.
